Who we are
FixHub is an independent website that publishes software and tech troubleshooting guides. You can reach us at fixhubguides@gmail.com.
What data we collect
You can read our guides without creating an account. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics for audience and page-performance measurements, including pages visited, country, browser and device type. Cloudflare describes this service as collecting minimal timing data and not tracking individual visitors across websites. See Cloudflare's data collection documentation.
Contact messages
If you use the contact form, you provide your name, email address and message. The form sends these fields to FormSubmit for delivery to our Gmail inbox, so we can read your request and reply. Messages may remain in that inbox and in replies; they are not anonymous analytics. See FormSubmit's privacy terms. Contact fixhubguides@gmail.com with questions about a message you sent. Avoid including passwords, license keys, tax returns or other sensitive documents.
Tool inputs and hosting
Tools marked as local, such as the password generator and email header analyzer, process their input in your browser. DNS checks, email setup lookup and QuickBooks version lookup send the entered query to our Cloudflare-hosted API. Email and DNS lookups extract the domain for queries to DNS resolvers and mail-configuration directories; a full email address entered in the form still reaches our API. Use a domain alone if you do not want to submit an email address. Port checks use the public IP address of your request and the selected ports to test your own connection.
Cloudflare processes requests to host and protect the site, which can include network information such as IP addresses and request URLs. Some successful lookup responses are briefly cached. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for its processing practices. A statement that a tool runs locally applies to that tool's input, not to ordinary page requests or analytics.
Cookies and advertising
This site may display ads served by third-party ad networks such as Google AdSense. These networks may use cookies to show ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits here and/or other sites on the internet.
You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, and you can manage cookies in your browser settings at any time.
Affiliate disclosure
An affiliate link can earn the publisher a commission if you use it to buy a product or subscription. Any such relationship should be disclosed with the link. Following an external link is optional; consult the provider's prices and terms before making a purchase.
