Queries are sent to our API and Cloudflare's DNS resolver; successful responses may be briefly cached. This checks published records, not message delivery or whether an email is safe.

No explicit MX record does not prove a domain cannot receive mail: SMTP can use address-record fallback. DMARC is checked only at the entered domain; inherited policies are not checked. See SMTP routing and DMARC policy discovery.
