Need to reinstall an older QuickBooks Desktop on a new computer, or open an old company file? Intuit makes old installers surprisingly hard to find — but they still host them on their official download servers.
Every link below points directly to Intuit’s own CDN (you can see download.intuit.com in each URL), and every single one was tested and confirmed working as of June 10, 2026 — with file sizes listed so you can verify your download completed.
What you still need: your license number and product number. Find them by signing in to your Intuit account (CAMPS — Customer Account Management Portal) at camps.intuit.com. The installer is free to download; activation requires the license you already own.
⚠️ Before you install: QuickBooks Desktop 2023 and older are discontinued — payroll, bank feeds, payments, and support stopped on May 31, 2026. Old versions still work for viewing data and manual bookkeeping, but connected services are off.

How to install (any version)
- Download the installer for the exact year/edition your license covers (a Pro 2019 license won’t activate Pro 2021)
- Run the installer → enter your license number and product number from camps.intuit.com
- Activate when prompted. Older versions may require activation by phone if online activation is retired
- Update your company file: QuickBooks upgrades files forward only — once opened in a newer version, the file can’t go back to an older one. Back up first.
FAQ
Are these downloads legal? Yes — every link points to Intuit’s own servers; nothing is cracked or rehosted. You still need a license you own. What’s not legal/safe is buying “cheap lifetime licenses” from gray-market sellers — those are typically stolen volume keys that Intuit deactivates.
I lost my license number. Sign in at camps.intuit.com — every license registered to your account is listed. No account? Intuit support can look it up from your business details.

The download fails partway. These files are 600 MB–1.1 GB. Compare your downloaded size to the table; if it’s short, the download was interrupted — resume or restart it.
